Welcome to The Gillespie Center
The Gillespie Center 2590 Commerce BLVD, Mound MN 952-472-6501 is the pride and joy of the Westonka area. It has a beautiful building that was built and is maintained by donations and efforts of the citizens of the community. It has beautiful surroundings and it is located next to a wetland overlooking Lake Minnetonka. Seniors and other community members can gather, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and participate in the many fine programs and activities that are available.

Al & Almas boat trips
Mondays starting in June. Tickets now on sale $16 per person. Tickets must be purchased by Friday before the cruise.
Scrip
Buy gift cards at The Gillespie Center and the center receives a portion of the money (over $600 in the last ew months of 2012). A full list of the available cards is at the front desk.
Brighten Up Your Garden
Wednesday 5 June at 10:45 AM - Learn about Johnny's Garden Center's new gardening gadgets, garden decor, and supplies. There will be a hanging planet given away and also coupons.
"F Sharp"
Wednesday 12 June at 10:45 AM - "F Sharp" will entertain with "A Century of Favorites" on piano and keyboard.
Country Jam
Wednesday June 19 noon to 2 PM. Signup for lunch ($5) and listen to the music.
Trip to Crow River Winery
Thursday 20 June at 10 AM - lunch on your own at Zellas Restaurant in Hutchinson. Limited seating so signup early. Cost TBD

LMCC (Lake Minnetonka Cable Commission) produces a program "Seniors on the Go" that often includes a number of items related to the Gillespie Center. The program is shown on cable channel 12 Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 AM and also Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM.
